One finish a week, not bad (and a link party)

At this pace, I may be able to get many of the 10 projects I planned to finish this quarter done!

  7. Zipper pouches - cut 1 pouch pieces, ready to start assembly

  9. Geese project - printed pattern, received fabric, ready to sew

I finished the wall hanging I will gift to my dad to decorate our house in the mountains (which is the piece in the middle).

This is the project for August, Lovely Year Of Finishes. It's going to be a wall hanging: I have the panel, I have the Spoonflower fabric I created, I have the pieces that I will applique above the panel... now it's time to start sewing!! :)

  2. You're brave to make lists! I did one a year ago and I'm still looking at no progress on it. So I gave up on lists!

    1. Thanks Erin! I got both at Fabric.com. They are called Bali Batiks Wood Grain Bison (the dark one used as sashing) and Bali Batiks Wood Grain Mocha (the light one used as border). They are batiks wood grain, so it's not too "realistic wood grain", it's more "artistic wood grain" but I love how they worked in this piece.
