"Thank you, Sol"
This is what she says about her piece.
---
My piece is inspired by Sol LeWitt (1928-2007).
There were so many drawings of his at MassMoCA (3 floors) that I had a hard time choosing one.
This particular piece is based on Wall Drawing #692 (October 1991).
The original was completed using four color ink washes (gray, yellow, blue, red).
Please go to the MassMoca website to see the complete installation that includes this piece.

I used EPP to construct this piece. The black lines are strips of bias binding I had on hand.
One thing I would do differently is to use paper instead of cardboard templates.
They proved to be a bit thick and I found it hard to keep my stitching small so that it didn't show.
